If this is your only source for clarification of the bible, think again. I found several "definitions" that are completely apostate and I'm sure there's more.For example, Christmas. Theres some garbage here saying that the heathen connotations have been removed and have acquired a Christian meaning. Don't be deceived. When has God ever said use a tree to worship Me? Jeremiah 10:1-4 sums it up pretty clearly. Also, multiple times in bible it shows God is not pleased with trying to use pagan methods and traditions to worship him, so stop these lies.Another example, in the definition of the Maccabees, it says the festival (of Hannukah) became a permanent fixture falling on the 25th of DECEMBER.Actually, it falls on the 25th of Kislev which is NOT Dec 25th of the Gregorian calendar. That's why its on different days every year because it follows the true Hebrew calendar like it should.The same with Easter. Easter is not Passover, nor of the one true God, and is so pagan to the core that it didnt even bother to change the name from the goddess it's after. There is no such thing as Christian Easter - just the fallen away that are more concerned with traditions of man than God's word.Look it up but not in this book! The sad part is people will look at these definitions as truth.
I bought this book to replace a compact-version because the font was too small for my eyes. This one is larger in font and has a bit more info. per entry than the compact one. The paper quality is pretty good as well. I recommend it as a resource to have with your desk reference collection.
Love the old photos instead of what everything looks like today. Very helpful with Bible study. It takes you there.
