Six kids who formed a bond over one magical summer that they never forgot. It's a story of magic and lust and mystery and rituals. When I read it I got this feeling that the air was murky and rich with magic, everything felt so heavy and thick and exciting. This series, I can tell already, is not your typical story, yes it's kinky and yes the men are broody but there is so much more to it. We are taken on a journey of self discovery, a search for the truth, a journey of sexual awakening and this is just the first book in the series.It's not a story for close minded people, but if you want adventure and intensity and what I feel like is at least one epic love story (and you're not afraid of some of your boundaries being pushed) then read this book, it is an amazing start to what I'm sure will be an amazing series. I'm already in mourning for the wait times I'm going to have between each book. Thornchapel has a lot left to reveal.

They are drawn back Thornchapel. What happens there is life changing for all of them.Sierra Simone is one of the most amazing storytellers I have ever read. This series is going to be epic if A Lesson in Thorns is any indication of what we have to look forward to. The descriptions and background she gives in her stories takes you on a magical ride. One you won't soon forget. This is one of my top reads of 2019.

It was intriguing, mythical, sensual, erotic, magical.Six kids build a friendship 12 years ago at Thornchapel. Then it's ripped away from them by their parents. Well those six kids are back. But their not kids any more. And Thornchapel isn't either. The place is more alive and magical then they remember as children.It's like they all have been called here to find themselves, their true selves...….In this book you will get to know the characters and their back stories. And learn a little of Thornchapel. This book is filled with a lot of kink and has a big cliffhanger. But it was so good. Book two will be out in June 2019

As I sat there reading, I was entranced in the world of Thornchapel. The characters, so different yet so similar, entertained me with their daring, teased me with their secrets, shocked me with their innocence and enticed me with their desire for something greater than even they recognized. I heald my breath from one chapter to the next desperate to learn all the secrets of Thornchapel, lost in the mystery and hoping for resolution while at the same time praying that the story never ended. Thornchapel is a gift wrapped in intrigue, mystery, and secrets, and topped with an erotic bow of seduction. A Lesson In Thorns is unlike anything you will read this year and trust me, you should definitely fall down the rabbit hole of Thornchapel!
