Again Author Bobby Akart has knocked it out of the park.The Armstrong siblings are great characters that we can all really identify with through family or friends.An EMP has devastated our country .While Coop,his younger brother & sister are in Canada the lights go out & they have to find a way home(not gonna spoil it so dont ask)Their older brother is still stuck across the world trying to figure out how to get home.Texas is the only state prepared for something like this.TEXAS STRONG! Bobby never ceases to amaze me.His books are all a thrilling ride to the end.I spend all day reading till I finish them.My husband was always a slow reader because he just couldn't get into reading.Not anymore.He reads Bobby's books as fast as they get here.The storylines are always engrossing and hold on to you from beginning until the end.I'm blessed to be an advanced reader for Bobby but I always buy them so I can be a verified reader(plus love having the paperback)They are all very ,very researched and he knows what he's talking about.He carries us on a journey right along with his characters.By the end of a series its like we've been there and seen and felt everything that they have.Thank you Bobby for all the entertainment you provide for us.We can't wait for the next one.
Heartpounding, and what a story. This book picks up right where the first one left us hanging. The lights are out because America has been hit by an EMP. Cooper, and his brother and sister and some friends are trying to get back home. Duncan was saved by some Koreans, And Texas is staying strong and has closed its borders, because they still have power. Texas is getting ready for a fight. The world is in chaos, and its fixing to get worse. What a story this was, and an amazing book, that you definitely can't stop reading once you start. Bobby Akart, has definitely done it again.
