As a user of WooCommerce since it was released, and having taught hundreds of store owners the basics of WooCommerce, I can say this is the perfect resource for anyone that is either thinking of using WooCommerce, or has just started.The details and order of the instruction covers all the necessary details, and the use of screenshots and the availability of a demo site to refer to will help any novice to better understand the process of building an online store with WooCommerce.Scattered between are great examples that make it even more clear plus they add some nice bonus material at the end that takes you a bit further than just the basic mechanics of WooCommerce.From experience, I know that a lot of people when learning tech tend to gravitate toward video instruction, but in my opinion, nothing beats printed instructions. No matter what direction you are going with your WooCommerce education, I recommend this book as a great resource for both learning the plugin and referring to it as you build out your online store.
The Wordpress / WooCommerce world is changing fast. This book was published just about a year ago, but apparently, a lot has changed because there's a good bit in this book that's out of date. I would assume that since they are selling a Kindle edition, they would make some effort to keep it relevant. The changes have been significant enough that I had to do quite a bit of searching to figure things out. In addition, I really don't expect the authors to push specific products to promote their associated businesses. Overall, I managed to get a WooCommerce site going by reading this book, but they didn't make it easy.
